Isis nursing Horus (madonna and child) is a common theme in depictions of the Abydos Triad: Osiris, Isis and Horus. This figurine seems to have been copied from a Late Period (Ptolemaic, 712-232 BCE) gilded bronze sculpture, 9 inches high, found in Sakkara.
