Tutankhamun's Dagger

Gold-plated pewter copy of the golden dagger found in Tut's tomb, not quite as large as the original at 8 inches long. Tutankhamun's dagger was on display in the recent "Treasures of Tutankhamun" tour, and it is gorgeous. I did not expect to be impressed by a gold dagger, as it's really a useless affectation, but the design and craftsmanship of this piece are compelling. Sheath is decorated with hunting scenes including lions and cheetahs and dogs. Note: This piece is pewter, not epoxy resin, so it is fairly heavy.
