Cold-cast resin figure 8.5 inches tall represents the Egyptian goddess Nephthys. Copied after the Nephthys figure protecting the canopic jars of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, along with Isis, Neith and Serket.

Nephthys is the daughter of Seb and Nut, sister of Isis, and consort of Seth. Her headdress represents her name in hieroglyphs, showing a neb atop a het. Neb-het means "Lady of the House", where "House" is the abode of the gods, as in Hathor's name Het-heru. Nephthys usually appears as the faithful sister and assistant of Isis. She helped Isis gather the parts of Osiris' body after her husband Seth chopped Osiris into pieces. Like Isis, Nephthys had magical powers and could appear with wings. The goddesses often appear together and can only be distinguished by their headdress. Nephthys, usually paired with Isis, also appears as friend and assistant to the deceased in the journey to the afterlife.
